This wonderful Angelcare Baby Monitor has helped me sleep because it has given me so much peace of mind!
My daughter was what you call a tummy sleeper from the very beginning. She did not like the idea of sleeping on her back and she also did not like being swaddled either. So, if we wanted her to sleep for 4 hours instead of her wakeing up every 30 minutes we let her sleep on her tummy.
After we make the decision to let her sleep on her tummy, I also make the decision to get this Angelcare Baby Monitor. This monitor has good distance and I can hear my baby very clearly which is very important to me.
There was a couple of false alarms because the monitor is very sensitive but we found out that there will be very few false alarms if your follow the directions correctly.
You do not just want to plug in the monitor and expect it to work properly, you will need to read the instruction and go through the complete set-up process.
You will need to set up your baby’s room the way it will be when your baby sleeps so it will detect no movement when the baby is in the crib. The monitor is so sensitive that it will pick up such things as sheets blowing in the wind. With the proper setup you will know if your baby stops breathing.
